• Scenario: The Cornwalls' First Test
  • June 27 1944
    The 5th Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (5 DCLI) have been tasked with securing the hamlet of Le Haut du Bosq during Operation Epsom. Following up behind the 9th Cameronians it falls to the Cornwalls to drive out the remaining German defenders and withstand the inevitable German counterattacks by members of the 12th SS. With support from the 7th Royal Tank Regiment and their own AT guns, can the Cornwalls stand fast in their first true blooding? Or will the morale and firepower of the Hitlerjugend win the day?

Carnage and Glory - American War of Independence

• Scenario: The Battle of Hanging Rock
  • A scenario with some local Charlotte area history
  • Under the command of General Thomas Sumter, SC and NC militia with some Catawba Indians attacked the British in camp at Hanging Rock. The battle lasted for over 3 hours. The Americans left the field taking off much arms and equipment. When the smoke cleared, several Royalist Provisional units and the NC Royalist militia were decimated.
  • Using the Carnage & Glory computer moderated system, join us as we attempt to re-create history. No dice needed – only pace sticks and a chart.

• Scenario: Inkerman
  • Unknown to the Turkish and Sardinian troops stationed around the 'sandbag battery', a Russian brigade with artillery support has crossed over the Tchernaya river during the night and is advancing towards them from the east. Will the Russians be able to overrun the sandbag battery position before French & or English troops arrive? Or will the disfunctional communications from higher command on both sides completely confuse the issue ?? Only the players can work this one out...

• Scenario: Hill 621 - "Minsk Meat"
  • In late June 1944, the Soviets began what eventually would be known as the "Destruction of Army Group Center." The key to this offensive was the city of Minsk. Should it be captured, numerous German units would be hopelessly cut off. One of the key routes for the German retreat was via Stolbtsky Highway South of Minsk. On July 1, the German 170th Infantry Division was overwhelmed by the Russian Fifth Guards Army. The survivors retreated to their last line of defense - a series of ridges overlooking this vital route to Minsk. Will the thinly spread German line concentrate their forces in the right places to stop the Russian horde?

  • Aerodrome 2 is the soon-to-be-released WWII version of the popular Aerodrome WWI gaming system that's always standing room only at Cold Wars, Fall In!, and Historicon. Each game lasts about 20 minutes, so pilots can come and go.

28mm Late 19th Century Colonial - The Sword and the Flame

• Due to scheduling conflicts for the GM, the game will start at approx. 6:30
• Scenario: "Ngoni on the Warpath"
  • The Ngoni are blazing a path of destruction through the eastern settlements of the territory of Kenya. A group of white settlers have had their homes destroyed along with their native neighbors and now both are trying to link up with a punitive force sent by the colonial government. Can the rag tag militia of settlers hold out in time or will the government troops find themselves ambushed and slaughtered? Can the more numerous Ngoni win with spear and musket against smaller units armed only with rifles and pistol?
